From a simple Dinner Event in 2001 this Outback Festival has become a 10 day series of exciting events and tours of this scenic region in the Kimberleys of Northern Western Australia.
Traditionally held on the banks, and along, the Yarra River this festival has recently celebrated it's 50 birthday having started way back in 1955. Starts Friday Labour Weekend
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival will celebrate its 28th year in 2014 and is one of the three largest comedy festivals in the world, alongside Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival. Held in early March.
This traditional biennial Wine and Food Festival is a great time to see the famous Barossa Valley. Held in mid April after the crop has been picked and vatted.
Glendi is South Australia’s largest Ethnic Festival with over 40,000 people attending over the weekend. Held in April
This 6 week long festival is considered the largest Greek Festival outside of Greece itself. Held in April/May.

Floriade is Australia’s biggest celebration of spring. This iconic Canberra event, which is now in its 26th year, runs for 30 days over the months of September and October. It showcases one million flowers in bloom throughout Canberra’s Commonwealth Park and entry is free. The event welcomes more than 400,000 local, interstate and international visitors each year. Held in September.
This iconic ten day community festival is held during the spring season of September each year. The locals get involved with their gardens and love showing off their productions to the visitors who can even wander through selected gardens.
